Private Cloud: Hosted VMs
This service offers individual Windows or Linux virtual machines, which can be self-managed or managed centrally by IT Services (at additional cost). In the former case we will deploy a Linux or Windows VM, hand over the root/administrator password to you and then you are responsible for all further administration.
This service covers windows licensing costs through Data Centre licensing and is on a High Availability Cluster between Slough and Oxford. This service is also available through the small research facility framework.
